This is something I wrote for my girlfriends pastor a great man btw who gave a great message to us that i personally enjoyed very much. Note Im note very religious myself but have a deep spiritual nature.


2 weeks ago pastor you gave a talk on everyone being forgiven and loved by god and that it’s not under any kind of circumstance that this gift is given I.E. not if i am a Protestant or Baptist or Mormon we are all forgive of sins and loved by god even those whom are evil are still loved by god... this starts where i correlated your talk 2 weeks ago and today, Sunday the 9th, and how liberals are staved off by religion today.

What I am about to say is in fact the answer as to why this is that they pull away and do not embrace religion. I know because I am gladly liberal yet conservative as well I don't belong to any one faction or the other but try and live MY life as I see good and evil and perceive them obviously staying away from that which I've encountered as ultimately an evil and trying to identify the not so easy evils to be wary of. But this is getting off topic the answer is simple and it’s as you did say in fact but you only grazed the surface. The answer is that religion today teaches that if and ONLY if you are of a certain faith and you live your life a certain expected way and if you follow the rules as MAN (this is an important point ill return to by the way) that only then will you be able to enter into the kingdom of god. I don't believe this to be true and it in fact has made me question faith, god and religion many, many times. I believe everyone whether man woman child saint or sinner is viewed by god on their life and their perceptions and how they lived their lives based on how life was given to them for god cannot condemn someone for living as best as they can with what life has given them whether it be in sin or in sainthood. He knows our hearts minds and everything that has been given or not given our trials and tribulations.

Many of the people whom are liberal feel that religion today in fact is hypocritical on their views for this reason of condemning others for not living a life that man has places as the perfect son or daughter of god. I ask you and this is that point I was going to make earlier, when did man become the judge of man and god take a step back. When did he appoint any religion, save for the 10 sacred commandments that are so vastly stretched today to fit mans needs, to tell people who will be saved when he himself gave no really defining answer on who will be saved. The answer to that... He never did. He has given no answer as to whom will be saved and whom will not and that is why the message isn't reaching people it’s been corrupted and the very institutes that claim god as their personal savior is a business and not a temple for Jesus it is a liar’s haven a lure for those who want forgiveness to be trapped by another's perceptions another greed another's sin and I feel that don't wish to be a part of any place that condemns me for living life as best as I can and always with god in my mind heart and soul for I do my best daily and yes I sin but gladly for I do no wrong as I see it and god knows I do everything for family god and friends others and then lastly myself.

There are few words Jesus spoke in the bible personally but some I remember well are as follows: "thou shalt not judge..." and "oh ye of little faith why did you doubt" and a description I always remember that breaks me every time I have done wrong and know it "Jesus wept" for if I know I caused him to suffer, at that time which he died for us, by and through my sins which he did die for , I am then just as guilty of his death as everyone else and to cause pain to someone is a grievous crime as well one hard to be forgiven of especially if you draw even one tear. I’ll leave this with you and hope it rings some measure of truth for you and maybe gives you some insight of who I am and what I am like.
